Built by using Universal Design, this home includes a first level master suite with King Size bed, a jetted tub in the accessible bath, and no thresholds from the driveway to the front door. Everyone will feel at home in the relaxed, modern country style décor. A wood pellet stove in the great room makes a toasty home with no logs to haul or mess to clean up. The kitchen is fully stocked with basic supplies and utensils. Linens, towels, and “starter supplies” are also provided.

The second floor bedroom suite also has a King Size bed, reading chair, and full bath. A spacious loft overlooking the great room is home to a comfortable reading (or napping….) nook with a leather chair, ottoman, and window overlooking the lake and Cacapon Mountain.

If you have to work or just can’t break that internet habit, DSL is available, as is Direct TV, and a DVD and VCR player (complete with video/DVD library).

"I must admit, leading up to our week's vacation here, I was a little worried on how I was going to keep my 9 year old daughter from being bored up here in the woods, but we had a great time. We got here and was pleasantly surprised first by the house. We just felt sooo comfortable from the start. The decor and little things were so very nice. We spent our week hiking the trails, horseback riding, golfing,a nd biking the C&O canal, and not a day went by that we didn't spend at least a couple hours in the hot tub. Our pet policy is listed below, there are individual cabin instructions in each cottage that will also assist you, please contact us if you have any questions:

1. All pets that are left unattended in the cottage must be tethered outside or kenneled (some cottages allow pets to be left unattended in the basement or garage areas, please see individual cottage Visitor’s Guide located at cottage).
2. Pet owners must scoop yard and place pet residue in trash bag in trash bin before departing cottage.
3. Please bring your pets' bedding, blankets, kennel and scooper (most cottages have a shovel in garage or utility room). The bedding and blankets that are located in the cottage are for our guests use only.
4. Please immediately report any pet damages or problems.
5. Please be respectful of our owners' property, we make an extended effort to offer pet friendly cottages and we appreciate our guests who also make an extended effort to ensure the cottage is left undamaged by pets.
6. Guests will be charged for any damages or extra cleaning due to pet owner negligence.

5. Place the lock box (with key) back on the outside door for our cleaning personnel.
6. Ensure all doors are locked and all windows are secured before departing.
7. Please report any damages, broken items or problems immediately.
